Projects

Projects represent the repositories you've connected to FirePan for security monitoring.

Connecting Repositories

Via GitHub App

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Connect GitHub
  3. Authorize the FirePan GitHub App
  4. Select repositories to monitor

Manual Connection

For repositories outside GitHub or private instances:

  1. Go to Projects > Add Project
  2. Enter the repository URL or upload source code
  3. Configure scan settings
  4. Click Create Project

Project List

The project list shows all connected repositories:

Sorting and Filtering

Sort by:

  • Risk score (highest/lowest)
  • Name (A-Z/Z-A)
  • Last scan (recent/oldest)
  • Finding count

Filter by:

  • Status (Critical, Warning, Healthy)
  • Tags (custom labels you assign)

Project Details

Click a project to view:

Overview Tab

  • Risk Score History - Score changes over time
  • Finding Trends - New vs resolved findings
  • Recent Scans - Last 10 scan results
  • Quick Actions - Run scan, view report, settings

Findings Tab

All findings for this project:

  • Filter by severity, status, file
  • Bulk actions (dismiss, assign)
  • Export to CSV/JSON

Scans Tab

Scan history with:

  • Scan ID and timestamp
  • Trigger (manual, PR, scheduled)
  • Duration and status
  • Link to full report

Settings Tab

Project-specific configuration:

  • Scan schedule - Auto-scan frequency
  • Paths - Include/exclude directories
  • Notifications - Per-project alerts
  • Team - Project-specific access

Project Actions

Run Manual Scan

  1. Click Run Scan button
  2. Select scan type (Quick or Deep)
  3. Optionally specify branch/commit
  4. Monitor progress in real-time

Archive Project

To stop monitoring without deleting data:

  1. Go to Project Settings
  2. Click Archive Project
  3. Confirm archival

Archived projects:

  • Don't count against your repository quota
  • Don't receive automatic scans
  • Keep historical data accessible

Delete Project

To permanently remove:

  1. Go to Project Settings
  2. Click Delete Project
  3. Type project name to confirm
  4. Click Delete
Warning

Deletion is permanent. All scan history and findings are removed.

Project Tags

Organize projects with custom tags:

  1. Select one or more projects
  2. Click Add Tag
  3. Enter tag name (e.g., "production", "internal", "high-priority")
  4. Apply to selected projects

Use tags to:

  • Filter the project list
  • Configure batch notifications
  • Organize by team or environment

Your plan determines how many projects you can monitor:
